Depression & Anxiety

Depression, fear and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can all experience at some point in our lives. Through the process of therapy, we can make sense of what we are feeling and why this has come about at this point in our lives. Together, we can identify meaningful treatment goals for you, and find ways of understanding, predicting and managing emotions and making positive changes in your life that will allow you to recover and find motivation, perspective and joy. Depending on the issues and your preference, we will draw from systemic therapy, CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) or DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy) ideas and strategies.

Trauma & PTSD

When something traumatic happens to us, life can get very difficult. Trauma symptoms like flashbacks, difficulty sleeping, nightmares and constant high anxiety can make it very difficult to get better and process what has happened, and can negatively impact our mood, wellbeing and our relationships.

It can be very helpful to get practical hands on help to learn managing trauma symptoms and process what has happened and how this impacts you now in a safe and supportive environment.
